In 2006, Burke was a finalist in the “Best Places to Work” competition sponsored by the Cincinnati Business Courier. The finalists and winners were determined by an employee engagement survey conducted in August. View Video Clip.   A total of 115 employers competed in the competition, but only 16 were finalists. The awards were presented at a luncheon on November 9 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center which was attended by about 500 people. At the luncheon, a one-minute video was shown about Burke. It features interviews with Kendall Nash, Jim Kershaw, and Linda Klump as well as footage of various employees and work areas.
