MICHAEL WEBSTER PROMOTED

TO DIRECTOR OF BURKE INTERACTIVE OPERATIONS

 

Cincinnati (May 22, 2000) – Burke, Inc., an international leader in custom research and business consulting, has promoted Michael Webster to director of its Interactive Operations.

In this role, Webster will manage and implement Internet-based research studies for several Fortune 500 clients – including those in the technology, telecommunications, financial and consumer goods industries. Additionally, he will continue to manage Burke’s Survey Systems programming team, responsible for ensuring quality standards during the programming phase of research projects.

Since joining Burke in 1994, Webster has been actively involved with Burke’s interactive initiatives, playing a key role in developing the corporate Internet data collection platform and bringing Burke to the forefront of Internet research. Prior to his position as Survey Systems manager, Webster was a senior Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI) programmer responsible for writing CATI scripts for marketing research projects and testing new data collection software in a variety of languages and platforms.

A 10-year marketing research veteran, Webster has served multiple marketing positions including program manager, marketing communications manager and assistant, project supervisor and research interviewer.

Webster is based at Burke’s Cincinnati headquarters. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from Thomas More College and is involved in a number of professional organizations, including The Internet Society (ISOC), Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and HTML Writers Guild (HWG).
